First filled cupcake!

So the next few posts will be of things of done previously.. although the date will be today ;)


Darn Good Chocolate Cake (Cake Mix Doctor)
As noted I use the milk, oil, and Devil's Food. :)

For Ganache just a simple ganache,
12 oz good semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 oz sugar
1tbs butter
8 oz heavy cream
Boil heavy cream, sugar, and butter until boiling. Pour into stainless steel bowl with chocolate chips. Let sit for about 3-5 minutes then stir in the middle outwards. Let cool and dip the cupcakes into the cooled ganache. About 15-30 minutes to cool.
For swirl I place cooled ganache into a piping bag and place in the refrigerator for about an hour and half.



My "faux" mousse.
So I tried the real thing and honestly I hated it.. Took to much time and didn't give me the results I expected.
1 smaller pkg of chocolate pudding
1 cup milk (I always use 1 % milk)
1 cup heavy cream
Whip until pudding consistency and refrigerate. Fill piping bag and then put into cupcakes.

Also as a cake, made a white chocolate heart and melted white chocolate for the lines.
