The organic cotton is a perfect material for our sweet baby as it's natural.  Unbleached, undyed,  and grown without pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers.  I myself have an allergy to latex so I'm happy that this mattress is free from allergens like latex and wool.   The main reason we chose this mattress is because it's free of chemicals, while still having it's own exclusive fire protection system.  It's safe, effective, and meets all Federal and State Flammability Standards without those chemicals that can hurt my baby.
