Music Monday - Baby Lullaby

I absolutely love music.  While at work one day I was playing pandora for a child, and that's when Naima (Benin) by Angelique Kidjo came on.  I'll be honest.. I have no clue what she's saying but the song is just so peaceful and relaxing.
When I googled this song I found that it was on a CD called Dreamland: World Lullabies & Soothing Songs.   It contains lullabies from all over the world.  Pretty cool right?
I play it occasionally for Mikaylee, and I'm sure it will be a familiar song once she hears it.  Is there any lullaby you like playing for baby?

  15. I used to do that with my children...put headphones to my belly and play music. They either really loved it or really hated it because they would move like crazy.

  22. Oh, that wonderful! So sweet. We did a lot of Canon in D type stuff around here. And Enya. A little Nora Jones. I still get a bit teary when I hear some of the songs I played for my children as they went to sleep. Sweet memories.
