Sweet Baby 38 Weeks

Sweet Baby is now as long as a Leek!      

                   

I really can't believe that we're almost done being pregnant - next it's parents!  I finished packing up her bag for the hospital.  I haven't decided which outfit so we have 3 to choose from when the day comes!  I still haven't packed up a bag for me.. I know I should be prepared!!  I set aside a 2 outfits for me, and some other things.  Just have to get it all ready, because soon Mikaylee will be asking to come out!!  Ahh, I can't wait :)

About our baby: Your baby has really plumped up. She weighs about 6.8 pounds and she's over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). She has a firm grasp, which you'll soon be able to test when you hold her hand for the first time! Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb.  Wondering what color your baby's eyes will be? You may not be able to tell right away. If she's born with brown eyes, they'll likely stay brown. If she's born with steel gray or dark blue eyes, they may stay gray or blue or turn green, hazel, or brown by the time she's 9 months old. That's because a child's irises (the colored part of the eye) may gain more pigment in the months after she's born, but they usually won't get "lighter" or more blue. About me:  Tired, hungry, and excited to meet our sweet baby in hopefully 2 weeks! :)

How far along? 38 Weeks 1 Days   

Total weight gain:  29lbs

Maternity clothes? Just larger or longer shirts

Stretch marks? I have some on both sides of my belly.

Sleep: What's that? ;-)

Best moment this week: Getting Mikaylee's bedding ready!

Worst moment this week: Trying to find an apartment.. Horrible timing as our lease is up July 31st.  We need a bigger apartment, ASAP! :(

Miss Anything?  Being able to shave my legs.....
Movement: Lots!  I always feel her pushing her little butt up!
Food cravings: Grapefruit juice!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Raw ground meat/chicken.
Gender: Baby GIRL!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Tired, heartburn.
Belly Button in or out? It's officially out!
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy! :)
Looking forward to:  Getting a new lens for our camera.  Perfect for delivery and all those precious first moments of Mikaylee coming into this world.  :)
