Wordless Wednesday - Sweet Baby's first Cloth Diaper!

We tried our first cloth diaper today.
First time in a Cloth Diaper!
While it was comfy and looked super cute they are incredibly big.  So looks like we can wear some of our bigger clothes! :)

Do you have any cloth diapering tips?  Favorite cloth diaper?

  4. Aww that's soo precious!
I put my little one in cloth diapers- I tried BG AIO Newborn and then GroVia when she got a little bigger. To be totally honest, I've decided not to cloth diaper her anymore because the diapers left horrible scratches and even broke the skin on her thighs.

  6. Elaina, hopefully that doesn't happen to her chunky thighs!! We tried it yesterday and everything was fine so far. Penelope, we love it! Just need a lot. She went number 2 about 15 minutes after putting it on. I'm the type to change right away and also change after each pee.

  7. I have always loved the look of cloth but I never used it with mine. I'm lazy and hate laundry. I know, I know.. that is so sad.

  8. Well I think you know my favorite... and you have it on M!

You did great by pulling up the "wings" that will help.

You should only be able to put one finger in between the diaper and her leg, that's how you know if it's too loose or too tight. If you can freely put two or more fingers on top of each other and under the leg elastic it's way too loose and it will leak. If you put one finger in and the elastic is (even the littlest bit) digging into your finger then you have it too tight.

  10. I don't really have any tips since I'm fairly new to cloth diapering. I like to use both (organic disposables and cloth diapers) since I find both to be convenient. :)

  11. I highly recommend getting a sprayer and soaking your diaper to help with the funk.

  24. I love cloth diapers! I prefer sized fitted diapers with a separate cover to one-size aio's. I think it is less bulky!

  27. I like the honest diapers a lot. For the price they are the best deal by far. You'd get 30 expensive diapers less for the same price!!! They don't leak, and my daugter has no rash like she had with the super cheap generic diapers. I think that you can't beat them as far as value for your money is concerned.
