Baby's First Christmas with Hess Toy Truck

There's one thing that has been missing for the last 9 Christmas Day's in my life.. My father..  I was my father's biggest fan, best friend, and of course his pride and joy.  He made sure to give my sister and I the best he could in life.  He would do anything and everything for anyone.

I miss everything about my dad, but there's one thing that hurts so much.. Not getting that Hess Truck from him on Christmas morning.  My father collected Hess trucks for both of us and when he passed I completely stopped collecting them because it was just too hard.  My dad LOVED Hess.  He went out of his way each year to buy them.  When the Hess by us closed he actually had my family from Florida ship him two each year and paid them to do so.

Once I had Mikaylee it was an absolute NO-BRAINER!  I need to collect Hess trucks for her!  I can't not do it.  If there was ever a time to start collecting this was the perfect time.  Just hearing the commercials on TV seriously bring me to tears..  Hess trucks have not only been a tradition in my family, but a beautiful memory and I'm so excited to start this tradition with my daughter!

The 2012 Hess Truck is the Hess Helicopter and Rescue!  It has motorized main and tail rotors, 3 authentic sounds, working lights, a push button to open the cargo bay, and retractable landing gear.  I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to appreciate this.  I will also be giving her my collection when the time is right.

Hess Trucks are available online or in your local Hess gas stations!
It will always be a Happy Holiday with Hess in this family!
