Unfortunately one thing I didn't want to give my daughter was mine or my husband's skin.. She has my eczema and hubby's dermatographia. Since she has sensitive skin we really prefer to avoid the use of anything harsh with scents, dyes, or perfumes on her fragile skin. I was glad to find Exederm, made especially for babies and children & they even have an adult line for us!
Exederm was honored by the National Eczema Association with their 'Seal of Acceptance' award in acknowledgement of their sensitive formula. They scored 5/5 from the review panel! There are so many children and baby skincare products on the market and most of them contain harsh ingredients that irritate, dry out, and cause side effects for children especially with those who have skin conditions like eczema or dermatitis.
Exederm has created a formula to avoid all those harsh chemicals and we love it for our Sweet Baby! The only one thing I wish they had left out was petroleum However it does work well. Our favorite is the intense moisturizer It really helps for those moments when regular lotion is okay, just not enough. I can trust that my daughter won't have any more flare ups during her little massages after her bath or even when we just put a little lotion on our hands. My nephew had extreme eczema and only an expensive script worked for him. This sounds like a great product for little ones with sensitivities!

ReplyDeleteMy son had sensitive skin when he was a baby, but thankfully after about the age of 2, he grew out of it. I have contact dermatitis, so I know what a pain it is to have any kind of skin sensitivities.
