I can't believe it's already 2013! I'm finally back from my little vacation with the family and it was so nice to spend some time with the hubby since he is working crazy hours these past few months. Definitely looking forward to his next vacation! We all woke up Christmas morning and then Chris took Mikaylee so I could get some sleep since she had kept me up most of the night. Finally he called me out into the living room around 9 and said come look at the tree!
Hubby went out of his way and spoiled me! He bought me a North Face Jacket and a Coach purse! I was beyond words when I saw the gifts he got me! It was so much fun to shop for Sweet Baby and she absolutely loved opening up her presents! We bought her a Sophie Teether, Musical Toys, Sensory Toys, Books, Clothes, and a few other things. I can't wait for her to actually ask for things and see what Santa brought!
After opening presents we did Mikaylee's hand prints. I will cherish this ornament forever! I want to do one each year up until 5. It's special since she turned 5 months on Christmas as well as her first hand print It's never too late. I still have to do her 5 month update!
We went to my in-laws for dinner and by the end of the night we were pooped! We cuddled a bit after nursing and she fell asleep on the couch. Daddy snapped a quick picture!
We hope everyone had a beautiful holiday spent with family and friends, and nothing but good health and happiness for 2013!

ReplyDeleteYou mentioned being excited for when she can ask for gifts and see what Santa brings. My son is 3 1/2. This Christmas was the first Christmas my son asked for something. He asked for a Buzz Lightyear, and explained "because I only have a Woody". So when it came time to open Santa presents his reaction was a bit strange. As he started pulling off the wrapping paper he realized what was inside, he then took all the loose paper on the floor and piled it on top of the semi open gift. He has a weird look on his face. It took some coaxing to get him to finish opening it. Not sure what he was thinking about the whole situation.
