Pick up the phone! VTech Review

Our last phone was a cordless and served us well for many years.  It had great features, however it didn't give us the flexiability we needed any more.   Less is definitely more these days and the last thing I need is more appliances and gadgest that aren't serving their purpose.  We had a phone and a separate answer machine that was just dated too much for us AND lately it wasn't even working!  So we're loving the 2 Handset with Answering System and Cordless headset from VTech.  Not only is the second handset able to be plugged into any wall socket, the main headset as the cordless headset which makes for great hands-free talking!   The answering machine features up to 14 minutes of recording time, the Caller ID stores 50 calls and displays the name - number - time & date, and features a DECT 6.0 digital technology which provides superior voice and sound quality.

Checking my answer machine has seriously never been easier.  I'm also loving that it has a 50 name/number phonebook directory.  Since cell phones are so easy to just store your friends and families numbers I only know about 5 of their numbers of the top of my head!  This phone set is chuck full of fabulous features:

  • Voice Announce® Caller ID
  • Push-to-Talk
  • HD Audio
  • DECT 6.0 cordless headset
  • Handset speakerphone
  • Backlit keypad and display
  • Expandable up to 12 devices (2 devices can be cordless headsets) with only one phone jack
  • Up to 14 minutes of digital recording time
  • Message retrieval from handset
  • Message time and date stamp
  • Call screening
  • Trilingual prompts allow you to choose between English, Spanish or French
  • Hearing Aid Compatible
  • Call intercept
  • Intercom between handsets
  • Conference between an outside line and up to 4 cordless handsets
  • Last 10 number redial
  • Mute
  • Any key Answer
  • Volume Control
My favorite will be a shocker, it's the mute feature!   What would be yours?
