I recently had the chance to review the Pink Lining Diaper bag!  I was given the Poppins Bag, in Apple Tree.  I think it is absolutely precious!  I love their Yummy Mummy bags so much and adore that they have cupcakes!  Hopefully one day they will have the yummy mummy cupcake fashion in the poppins style!

The reason I went with the Poppins Bag is because I really need something for when Sweet Baby is older.  Right now I use a backpack and it’s packed!  I have everything you would need for an infant, but I don’t think I’ll need that for quick stops, going for walks, or when she is not needing so many things so I think the Poppins Bag is perfect for that.  It’s an adorable bag and has a shape that works well for shoulder wearing or even cross-body – did I mention perfect for strollers?  It features a front zip closure that I can easily clip my keys inside – I cannot tell you how many times I’m searching for them in other bags!  You can even store your wallet and cellphone in the front closure.

The inside has 2 insulated bottle holders, 2 diaper pockets, a pen holder, key fob, and a small zip pocket.  The bag comes with a padded changing mat and a wet zip bag, that I’ll probably use for her dirty food items also like spoons!   I do wish that the bag was a little wider.  If you keep the changing mat in there you don’t have too much room for things like a blanket.  I found I can fit one change of clothes, a thin blanket, diapers, diaper cream, wet ones, and of course room for bottles.  I like that it has a magnetic snap – however when it comes to diaper bags I’m more of a fan of zip closures because cleanliness.  However I can fit a little more in with this since it doesn’t zip.

While it isn’t washing machine safe, you can use a damp cloth with a little soap to wipe clean.  I think this is the ideal bag for parents who are on the go – especially with children that are a little older.  I’m not sure it’s the best for newborns – I’d definitely recommend the Yummy Mummy line for newborns! :)  However, this is perfect for once they start walking and you’ll need less in the bag.

I have this EXACT bag and I love it. Like you said, I do think it’s best for older children. Kendall is 2 and it’s perfect for us to throw a couple diapers in, a blanket, change of clothes and some snacks. I don’t think I could have used this bag when she was a baby because it’s on the tall thin side.
