This post brought to you by Vitamin Angels Give Childhood. All opinions are 100% mine.

Since Sweet Baby has FPIES she has had to take vitamins daily to ensure she’s meeting all her daily needs as she can’t EAT many foods like children her age.  During the holidays I love to give and always enjoy making treats and now enjoy baking gluten free goodies with my sweet girl.  I myself was always sick as a child and my diet wasn’t the healthiest.. heck I don’t even remember taking vitamins.. I feel very strongly about Vitamin Angels mission and campaign, Give Childhood.  Vitamin Angel’s believes that being able to experience the joy and wonder of childhood is a basic human right and can be greatly done with vitamins and minerals.  This is actually the reason that inspired the Give Childhood campaign, sponsored by Vitamin Angels.
Vitamin Angels is a nonprofit organization distributing vitamins and minerals to children and mothers in need. Vitamin Angels currently supports programs in nearly 50 countries from Africa, to Asia, Latin America and the United States.

At Vitamin Angels, we believe that every boy and girl deserves the chance to simply be a child. But undernutrition is robbing children worldwide of their childhoods. Without the foundation for good health that comes from proper nutrition, a child’s ability to reach his or her full potential disappears. This year alone, 3.1 million children will lose their chance to play forever.

Give Childhood back to children in need

The main purpose of The Give Childhood campaign is to raise awareness for Vitamin Angels’ cause and the problem of under-nutrition that is hitting worldwide.  It’s my belief that we can eat most if not all our vitamins and minerals, but sometimes cost, allergies, and other issues can get in the way.  Vitamin Angels’ Give Childhood campaign is focused on fundraising through December 31, 2013 and hoping to reach 1.2 million children in this effort to with lifesaving and life improving for children in 2014.  Their hopes is to reach over 40 million children in nearly 50 countries, including the US. How can one help?  Just 25 cents will give one child the vitamin A he or she needs for the entire year.

Your support today will give the gift of childhood to those in need worldwide so please donate nowby visiting Vitamin Angels Give Childhood to make a donation that will help deliver essential vitamins and minerals to at risk children in need

I can’t believe that it takes just 25¢ to give a child a better shot at life, that’s certainly something almost everybody can do!
