Children these days learn how to use a phone quicker than some adults.  It’s just a proven fact.  If my parents were here today and I handed them my cellphone they’d be absolutely clueless on what to do with it.  When they were alive and well they were only “flip phones”.  Sweet Baby can take my phone and take names at the same time.  She has her own little folder on the home screen with all her apps!  We just recently downloaded the GS Preschool Game from the Google Play on Android and she’s LOVING it!

Yesterday we had a long trip to CHOP hospital for her FPIES check up (full post coming soon!) and we both just played GS Preschool Games the entire time since i forgot your iPad.  It’s a FREE app that is LOADED with games. Just about all her apps that we download are for her to learn and this one is a must have!  She may not understand most of them yet, but she enjoys “playing”.  Playing to her, learning to me.   This app is actually designed for kids ages 3-6, but that won’t stop us from playing and learning early!  It helps them encourage their vocabulary, imagination, and learning while they play.

GS Preschool Games has 9 games in total that are designed beautifully and the colors just pop for your little one.

  • Match the Shadows
  • Jigsaw puzzles
  • Count the Objects
  • Solve the Maze
  • Memory games
  • Find odd items
  • Balloon quizzes
  • Scratch Paint
  • Compare Objects

GET IT NOW in on your Android in Google Play!  No android?  No problem!  They originally were on iTunes so get it here.

If you don’t want to choose a game and want to have  them pick you can just it the play button once it’s loaded.  Having a tough time?  You can skip a game too!  After you complete a game you get a virtual stick too!  Sweet Baby’s favorite is the Match the Shadows game.

I know that there are pros and cons to technology, but all the educational resources right at one’s fingertips are a HUGE pro to me. :)

My daughter takes my phone all the time! Now she stole my tablet…oh well. At least she’s learning!

My toddler loves dragging the jigsaw puzzles together. So much easier than actually fitting real puzzle pieces together!

My best friend has a son that’s in pre-school, so I’ll definitely have to tell her about this, thanks!

I was able to download the game last week and my daughter enjoyed playing these games too! It’s really hard to find an app that you think is appropriate for a kid but definitely GS apps are great for all ages!

Technology definitely plays a big role in how kids learn now. This app looks like a great resource for preschoolers.
