We tested out the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe during our summer vacation thanks to Hyundai and DriveShop.
Are you looking for the best compact SUV for your family? We really enjoyed driving the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe during our family vacation. The Hyundai Santa Fe towing capacity of 5,000 is great if you need to tag along a trailer or even a small boat for your family trips. Hyundai Santa Fe cargo space is also generous and allows you to tow plenty of personal belongings in the back with the spacious trunk and fold down seats.
Even though it’s a compact SUV, you’ll find that there’s plenty of room for you and your growing family. The 3rd row seats were especially impressive for a compact SUV.
When we went to visit my sister and her boyfriend they actually sat comfortably in the 3rd row along with the AC controls to their liking. You may also like the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport we tested.
The Santa Fe 2015 model isn’t too much of a change from the 2014 model. In fact the 2013 Santa Fe was the recent body change. This compact SUV is an affordable option for those looking for a roomy vehicle for their growing family. The base price is $30,150 and the vehicle we tested was $41,695. Keep in mind there is Hyundai Motor Finance available for those who are interested.
When we used this vehicle for our travels we were able to handle all terrains, from bumpy pebbles and stones to muddy and sandy farms. It was a dream to drive!
My daughter loves the sunshades in the back and it really kept the sun from glaring in her face for our long trips in the car. Talking about long trips, my husband loved the cruise control and said it was so easy to use. My favorite was taking it to the farms. We packed in tons of fresh picked goodies with the generous cargo space. I towed all of my daughter’s birthday presents and party supplies in the back with room to spare!
Since we were on the go and not at home much it was nice to have an outlet in the back. I was able to charge my camera, straighten my hair and it even charged my handle held vacuum – they’re great for when you’re at the beach / no sandy messes!
I have a deep love for alloy wheels and the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe model we tested were show stoppers. I love the color of the metal with the Froster Mocha exterior.
It was painful to say goodbye to the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe. It served us well for the 2 weeks we were able to test review it and it would be a great car for the long run with their generous warranties. (5 yr/60,000 mi basic, 10 yr/100,000 mi powertrain)
