This is a partnered post with Wet Ones® – thanks for supporting brands that make Courtney’s Sweets possible!
My baby girl is growing up and outgrowing her food allergy. We haven’t officially outgrown her FPIES until we trial just a few more foods, but for the most part, she’s outgrown it! It’s crazy how she can eat almost everything now!! I’m actually not used to it to be honest. I’m use to her refusing food and spitting everything out if she DID let it in her mouth. Now she’s shoving everything in her mouth and making a complete mess, and WE are ENJOYING every moment! Thankfully I always have Wet Ones® on hand to clean up her and any surfaces.

Lunch time or any meal time can be a bit messy. We eat a lot of fruits and veggies that can color your fingers. We’re huge fans of berries, they’re the berry best when it comes to make pretty colors. I love creating a healthy and nutritious lunch, no matter the mess she makes. I’ll clean it after she’s enjoyed. Today I made her a RED lunch. Red pepper, hot dog, strawberries, apple and bow-tie pasta with homemade Jersey fresh tomato sauce! 🙂
She loves eating out of her lunchbox instead of a plate and she even eats a bit more too! I’ve always been the mom to a baby without a bib. I welcome messes, because Wet Ones does such a good job at helping me clean them! There’s no sense in not allowing my daughter to enjoy to the fullest, messes are fun anyway! When I clean her up with Wet Ones I know that I’m getting rid of 99.99% of bacteria. She loves to snack in the supermarket and I allow her to do that after I wipe the cart down with a Wet Ones. I remember trying those cart covers, but essentially I was just putting it over the germs and then taking the germs with me. Plus those things were just downright bulky and awkward once she hit the toddler stages.
Also I should mention that my daughter has extremely sensitive skin and they don’t bother her since they’re hypoallergenic. They contain aloe and lanolin so they’re safe for the even the tiniest hands and won’t dry out skin when wiping away those dirty little messes. I would use the hand sanitizer or gels and they would just be too overpowering with scent and can burn little hands if there’s any cuts! 🙁 Wet Ones come in both Fresh and Citrus Scent and don’t hurt any boo boos on hands! I keep a few packages tucked into my camera bag and purse so we have them readily available for any messes that may happen. They come in a canister and individually wrapped for on the go as they say moist and ready for when we need them! I keep the canister at home and use it to clean up ALLLLL the messes. Especially during lunch time!
