    detox your home spring cleaning

If you are visiting from Sweet T Makes Three and just learned how to make your own furniture polish without chemicals using Young Living Essential Oils, welcome!!  Are you sick of all the chemicals you use for your home, your family, and even on your baby?!  Being a first time mommy I knew I wanted to be a crunchy mom and make a lot of things on my own.  I’m going to show you How to Make Baby Wipes Chemical Free Using Essential Oils | Detox Your Home in the process also thanks to all these lovely bloggers I’ve paired up with!

how to make homemade baby wipes

We often forget when we’re shopping around the grocery store just how many chemicals are in our every day products.  Unfortunately those chemicals are hiding behind words that we consider “safe”, like Natural, Simply, and Organic.  Those words have been used so freely that to myself and many others they lack much meaning anymore.  It’s time we stand up for ourselves, our families, and we’re all here to show you how to detox your home!

We hope to help you make small or BIG changes for your family and home in this Detox your Home Series.  There’s so many toxins in our everyday life – it’s time to get rid of them!  Let’s get started, shall we?

The last place I want chemicals is on my daughter, so when I was using a wipe brand that claimed to be organic, safe, and gentle for baby I thought we doing a good thing buying these wipes.  Unfortunately after some time I saw they were discontinued and stores were putting them in the clearance section.  Of course, that was my huge wake up call to make my own.  Since we cloth diaper, cloth wipes made so much more sense so we’ve actually been using both for quite some time.  I have been using a new recipe from The Chemical Free Home book and of course using my Young Living Essential Oils!  Lavender is one of my favorite oils for baby, it’s safe for my baby girl and it smells so good.  She’s a big fan of the “mell” too and asks all the time, “Mama more “mell” peas”.  These wipes have an oil that we trust, soap we trust, and some distilled water – THAT’S IT!

tmi: when we used store-bought wipes I felt like they would swish around the “stink”.  even though she looked all clean, the smell between her “stink” and the chemicals was just wrong, I didn’t feel like she was actually clean.  If and when we were home I would just bathe her instead.

There are so many incredible uses for essential oils, and while I waited TOO long to get mine I’m happy to say better late, than never!  So if you’ve been on the fence, you can finally hop in and join the oily party!

We are on our way to a more natural lifestyle. I wish when my kids were little I used something without all the harsh chemicals.

You just gave me an idea for a great baby shower gift. My niece is having her first and she has on her registry some kind of natural, organic solution to make her own baby wipes. Wouldn’t it be better to get her some essential oils and a book and she can make her own solution and so much more. Thanks!

Wow, with two nieces having babies this year, this would be a very good gift for their baby shower. Both of them are really health conscious and I am sure they would appreciate it. Thank you!

In more rare cases, playable prototypes actually surface from underground channels for
gamers to explore. So if you have boxes of old Amiga disks,
NES cartridges, or other old gaming programs stored away somewhere,
you’re in luck, otherwise you’re treading on legally shifty ground.

Also, beware the legalities of Emulation, you could be breaking the law.

Hi, love this idea but can’t seem to find an actual “recipe” with how much of each. Thank you!
