When I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted my baby’s name to have a special meaning. I mainly refer to her as Sweet Baby as my husband calls me Sweet, Sweetaleet, and I love to bake sweets! I found it very fitting that she would be nicked named Sweet Baby, as she is the sweetest thing we’ve ever made!  As for her real name.. since I lost both of my parents at a young age I really wanted to name our first child in memory of them. Not the whole name, but their first initials. My mother’s name is Mindy and my father’s Vingenzo. Now all we had to do was wait to find out our baby’s gender to really narrow it down.

When we found out we were having a precious little girl we couldn’t wait to tell everyone her name! We chose to name our Sweet Baby, Mikaylee for my mother with her middle name Vanya for my father. Not only does her first and middle name have a strong meaning from my parents, but also the meanings in general. Her first name means Pure like God, and middle means God is gracious; butterfly; brings good news; gracious gift of God.

We feel so passionate about the name we chose for our baby, and we cannot wait to meet her already! As soon as she arrives we’ll be taking so many pictures to treasure forever, and one of those pictures will be on her birth announcement. While we thought that looking for the perfect announcement would be a hard task we were so happy that we found Cardstore.com! Their website is extremely user friendly and I can definitely say I’ll be purchasing most of my card needs from them! I was speechless when I found that they had a card that is so fitting for our baby! While she isn’t here yet, I did have fun playing around with how we’d design her announcement cards, now we just need her picture and we’ll be all ready to go! It’s so easy to design and the selection of announcements are all beautiful, but we couldn’t help falling in love with the Sweet Baby cards! So meant to be!

In celebration of the 8 women who are pregnant, Cardstore.com has expanded
their offering of birth announcements!

So for us choosing our baby’s name was so exciting and means so much to us! How did you decide on your baby’s name? Or do you have a great story on how your parents decided on your name?
Tell me for a chance to win a year’s supply of cards from Cardstore.com! Also everyone that leaves a comment will get a coupon code where they will get 10 free cards for every 10 birth announcements they buy!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cardstore. The opinions and text are all mine. Official Sweepstakes Rules.
