French Toast Donuts with Bacon

Our French Toast Donuts with Bacon makes for such an easy donut recipe! A simple maple glazed donut recipe topped with crispy thick cut bacon, more maple syrup, and powdered sugar.

  • 6 strips Smithfield Cherrywood Stack Pack Bacon chopped
  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough
  • vegetable oil
  • maple syrup
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 5 tbs milk
  • 2 tbs maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • powdered sugar


  • Saute bacon in a skillet until nice and crispy.
  • Once the bacon is fully cooked set aside.
  • Using a cookie cutter, make holes in the donuts before frying.
  • Pour oil into a sauce pan or use a fryer, heat oil to 375 degrees F.
  • Cook the donuts on each side until the donuts are golden brown.
  • Dunk the finished donuts into some maple syrup.
  • In a medium frying pan combine the powdered sugar, milk, 2tbs maple syrup, and vanilla extract until bubbly.
  • Dunk the donuts into the glaze and then top with bacon and powdered sugar.
