Ingredients

  • 2 apples finely chopped (we went apple picking and they were much smaller then what you'd get in the grocery store!)
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 teaspoons maple sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
  • pinch of himalayan sea salt and pepper

Instructions

  • In a small sauce pan cook the apples until softened using a little water.
  • Once the apples are softened fold mix them and the seasonings into the pork.
  • Form into patties and cook in a pan about 3-5 minutes per side.
  • Enjoy with a drizzle of maple syrup and a fried egg on top!
  • *You can also cook the sausages in a sprig of fresh rosemary for more flavor!
