Ingredients
1.5
lb
chicken wings
fresh
1/4
cup
butter
1/2
cup
hot sauce
Instructions
Pat the wings with a paper towel to dry them.
Place them on a single layer on the air fryer basket or tray and then cook for about 10 minutes at 375 degrees F and then flip.
Cook for another 10 minutes, flip again, increase the temperature 400 degrees F then cook for about 5-10 more minutes.
Heat the butter and hot sauce in a small saucepan.
Once the wings are done toss them in the hot sauce, or you can use your favorite sauce.
If you want seasoned wings season before cooking.
Notes
Fat will drip from the wings making them a little less fatty and caloric.
Always dry the wings before air frying them - this ensures you'll get a crispy chicken wing.
Skip the cooking spray, there's no need to add any grease as the skin on the wings will add enough.
To make perfectly crispy chicken wings in the air fryer just arrange them in a single layer.
If you want to do more than a single layer, make sure you toss them enough so they all evenly cook just like wings in the deep fryer.
If cooking in batches you can keep the wings warm in your regular oven or even try making baked chicken wings.
