Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars with Rolo Candies
These Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars make for a quick and easy dessert packed with chocolate chips and Rolo caramel candies.
- 1 package Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix Betty Crocker
- 1 egg
- 1 stick unsalted butter softened
- 3.4 oz vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 1/3 cup rolos chopped
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F
Prepare an 8-inch baking dish with either nonstick spray or line the pan with foil and spray that with nonstick spray. You could also use parchment paper without spray.
In a large bowl, combine the cookie mix, egg, butter, and pudding mix on low speed using a hand mixer or using a spoon, mix until well combined.
Once the mixture looks like cookie dough gently fold in 1 cup of the rolos using a spoon.
Place the chocolate chip cookie dough into your prepared pan, press it out evenly and top with the remaining 1/3 cup of rolos.
Bake for about 30 minutes, until the sides are nice and golden.
Remove from the pan and allow to cool completely before slicing into cookie bars.
