Steamed Hard Boiled Eggs
Steamed Hard Boiled Eggs will make your eggs easy to peel! When you Steam hard boiled eggs you can skip waiting to use older eggs for hard boiling and you can use fresh eggs without any issues.
- sauce pan
- 1 + cup water
- 12 large eggs
Place your steamer into your sauce pan
Pour in 1-2 cups of water, just enough so that it's filled the bottom, but not over the steamer.
Bring the water to a boil, add in the eggs, and place the lid on.
Reduce the heat to medium heat and cook eggs until you reach your desired doneness.
Runny yolk cook time: 5-6 minutesFirmer, but still translucent yolk, 8-10 minutesHard boiled with fully cooked yolk 14-16 minutes
Place eggs into cold water (ice if you want, but not necessary) and then peel.
