Ingredients

  • steamer
  • sauce pan
  • 1 + cup water
  • 12 large eggs

Instructions

  • Place your steamer into your sauce pan
  • Pour in 1-2 cups of water, just enough so that it's filled the bottom, but not over the steamer.
  • Bring the water to a boil, add in the eggs, and place the lid on.
  • Reduce the heat to medium heat and cook eggs until you reach your desired doneness.
  • Runny yolk cook time: 5-6 minutes
    Firmer, but still translucent yolk, 8-10 minutes
    Hard boiled with fully cooked yolk 14-16 minutes
  • Place eggs into cold water (ice if you want, but not necessary) and then peel.
