It's been 5 months since I've had my Sweet Baby, Mikaylee. I am in love with being a mommy, especially her mommy! She is without a doubt the most sweetest little baby girl ever. She has been off her sleeping schedule so her and I have been up all night and sleeping half the day. Thank goodness I'm a stay at home mommy or I would definitely not be able to function! We're getting back into a normal routine now, but it was pretty off for awhile. Can't say I was upset, any time spent with my baby girl is good times :)
I cannot believe how different it was taking her pictures this month. She didn't sit and smile like usual. Instead she moved around, went to lay down, reached her toes, at her toy, and EVEN attacked Pooh! She's growing up too quick!!!! I must say it is so exciting to see her exploring! Just tonight my husband put his feet next to her and she looked at his feet and then grabbed her feet and looked to me and smiled. Yes, baby girl is super smart! :)

She started rolling over too! During one of our late nights I was hungry and making a snack so I put her down on the mat only to look back within a minute and she was holding her head up on her tummy!! Is this the same baby who hated tummy time?! What the ?? It was December 23rd at 2:52 am!

At the end of January we go for our 6 month checkup and the doctor will let us know when we can start feeding Sweet Baby food! He told us to hold off until we see him. We trust and love our doctor - so we're holding off even though we're so excited!

Did I mention she puts her hands in everything, and everything goes in her mouth! Chris was eating yogurt and sure enough her hand went in the yogurt! He caught her hand before she got a taste. He didn't realize how quick she is!! She also noticed her tongue this month and sticks it out constantly. Another thing we love is that she taps EVERYTHING. It's so adorable!!!!! I think she needs a drum set, daddy! ;-)
Can't say no to this face!!

Baby girl I am so enjoying watching you grow up and spending each and every day with you. I'm amazed I'm your mommy, and even more amazed you're mine!
