Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 - 13.4 oz container black beans , drained and rinsed
  • 1 - 13.4 oz container red kidney beans , drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 cup frozen sliced peppers
  • 1 cup hot salsa
  • 1 small onion , diced
  • 3 garlic cloves , minced
  • 1 -15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • toppings
  • sour cream (or greek yogurt which we prefer)
  • cheese
  • sliced green onions
  • chopped avocado
  • chopped tomatoes
  • chopped cilantro

Instructions

  • Brown beef in a large pot with water and 1 tablespoon taco seasoning.
  • Cook beef until no longer pink and transfer to crock pot.
  • Pour remaining ingredients into the crockpot (aside from cream cheese) and set for 2 hours on high or 4 hours on low.
  • When it's a half hour away from being done mix in the cream cheese.
  • Cook until the cream cheese is completely melted into the chili, enjoy!
