Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with avocado oil.
1/2-1 tablespoon avocado oil
Add the ground beef to the hot skillet and season with the seasonings. Break the meat up with a meat masher (I use a potato masher) as needed. Cook until fully browned. Do not drain the fat, let it cook into the meat.
2 lbs ground beef, 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt, 1 ½ teaspoons black pepper, 1 ½ teaspoons granulated garlic, 1 ½ teaspoons dried parsley
Reduce the heat and add the shredded cheese, stirring until fully melted and mixed into the ground beef.
1 cup cheese
Spoon the cheesy beef mixture evenly into the 4 long rolls.
4 hoagie rolls
Serve as desired. We love to enjoy with banana peppers.

Notes
Prep-ahead: You can make the ground beef ahead of time and then reheat the meat and melt in the cheese before serving.Grease: If you want to dial back the greasiness without losing flavor, you can drain a little fat before adding the cheese, but leave enough to keep the cheesesteak moist and juicy.Cheese: We recommend mozzarella, provolone or American cheese. If you're using shredded cheese we recommend using one without an anti-caking agent.Leftovers: Store the beef mixture in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. When reheating, warm it in a skillet or the microwave.Toppings: We love banana peppers and the kids love fries! You can also do peppers and onions, mushrooms, it's all what you prefer! Some even enjoy a cheesesteak hoagie!
