So I’ve been trying to find the best pound cake recipe.. This one is pretty close to being the best I’ve tried so far!
It’s called Pound Cake 3
I think it’s great on it’s own but love the taste of warm pound cake dusted with powdered sugar! 🙂

I have made a poundcake (recipe on my blog) and sometimes it wouldn’t come out PERFECTLY from the pan. I want to share this with you because I wonder…where has this product been all my life! That is…CAKE RELEASE by Wilton. You don’t even need to use a lot. I experimented by putting a good amount in the pan. Then I put just a film of it on the pan. It was actually better with just a little. This product is worth every penny.

Thanks, I actually use Bakers Joy but ran out and used just the vegetable oil and flour method which stinks! I’ll be on the look out for that item. I think I’ve seen it at Michael’s. 🙂

I think pound cake is best when warm with vanilla ice cream.
I needed a good recipe for pound cake. Mine always turns out dry and crumbly. Thanks
