Dairy Free Milk - We use Oatly full fat or Planet Oat Unsweetened. We use Oatly full fat milk for recipes you'd use heavy cream (for non-whipping purposes) and even as a dairy free buttermilk when mixed with a bit of vinegar. For whipping cream we hear great things about Country Crock Plant Cream.
Dairy Free Chocolate Chips - We use Enjoy Life Foods Chocolate Chips and Chunks.
Dairy Free Butter - We use Country Crock Plant Butter.
Dairy Free Cheese - We love Follow Your Heart Finely Shredded Cheddar Cheese and Finely Shredded Mozzarella. We also like their Gouda, parmesan, and provolone. Another option for parmesan cheese is Violife and we like that you can grate it yourself.
Dairy Free Cream Cheese - For taste, we love Violife cream cheese. For texture and when making a recipe (adding other ingredients to flavor the cream cheese), we prefer Toffuti as Violife melts as soon as it hits a toasted bagel.
Dairy Free Sour Cream - Sour cream is pretty tough. We like Toffuti, but not on its own. It's good flavored. Wayfare is okay, but it tastes more like a bean paste.
Dairy Free Yogurt - Dairy Free Oui yogurt is by far the best tasting yogurt you will find. A runner-up would be Silk Coconut milk yogurt.
