One day Sweet Baby will be able to sit on her own and play with her toys, but until then we're absolutely loving and enjoying the Mama's & Papas Baby Snug! As soon as I took it out of the box and placed her in the seat she loved it! Soon she'll be eating and it will be great for snacking with it's removable tray.
The Baby Snug seat has two pieces so that it can grow with your baby you would just remove the insert. Easily clean it up and it's extremely lightweight! We started using it when baby was 3 1/2 months and they recommend 3 months, no earlier. Baby can use this seat up until 12 months!
There's another seat on the market that I am very familiar with from working with children and I would never purchase, review, or even accept it as a gift. I highly recommend the Baby Snug and I seriously will be buying this for every baby shower I attend from here on out! It's one of those gifts that you will definitely need! Perfect for Baby's First Christmas! It was also great for taking Christmas photographs in front of the tree and watching mommy and daddy set it up!
The only complaint I have is that the website and packaging show a lime green and ours is definitely a Christmas Green. However, we love green so either way we're extremely pleased!
