Sweet Baby weighs as much as a Pineapple!

This week I have finally gotten a taste of how uncomfortable it can be to be pregnant towards the end.  I can’t sit on the floor without shooting pains in my legs and butt, and cramps when I walk to much or too fast.  Did I mention how much I have to go to the bathroom?  Aside from all the little things I’m still enjoying every bit of this pregnancy.  No one said making a little human was easy, but one thing is true… It’s so worth it!  🙂
33weeks

About our baby:   This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He’s rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren’t fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. (The pressure on the head during birth is so intense that many babies are born with a conehead-like appearance.) These bones don’t entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.   (summary and weekly image from babycenter)

About me:  Happy and thrilled that we meet our Sweet Baby in less than 2 months!  I’m counting down the days!
How far along? 33 Weeks 2 Days
Total weight gain:
  26lbs
Maternity clothes? Still just 2 maternity shirts.  Not planning on buying anything.
Stretch marks? A few here and there.
Sleep: Not much at night, but plenty of naps!
Best moment this week:
Feeling Sweet Baby move when we talk to her!

Worst moment this week: My blender exploding all over me and my entire kitchen.  Ugh..

Miss Anything?  Gooey sunny side up eggs!
Movement: Yes! 🙂
Food cravings: Citrus!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Raw ground meat/chicken.
Gender: Baby GIRL!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Aches and pains – can’t get comfortable.
Belly Button in or out? It’s coming out!
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy! 🙂
Looking forward to:  Going to our prenatal visit on Wednesday.

Yeah, for 33 weeks! I could not do chicken and butter for most of my pregnancy. Do you have any “feeling” about when your little girl will be born? I kept thinking my little guy would be early and he was.

It’s funny that you should use a photo of a pineapple – when I was pregnant, all I wanted to eat was pineapple! Seriously, I would eat CANS of it every day!
