We recently had the 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport for the week thanks to Drive Shop and Hyundai.  I didn’t think I would consider a smaller sedan for a family car, but this sporty sedan did extremely well for our family of 3.  We loved taking it shopping, to local parks, and of course down the Jersey Shore!

It exceeds safety standards and received a Top Safety Pick from IIHS.  Safety is one of our main concerns when considering a vehicle, new or used.  The 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport has excellent gas milage with a combined fuel economy of 28, 24 city and 35 highway.  I tend to do highway miles the most and we only had to fill the tank up half way once during the week we had it.

I definitely GEEKED out to the max when I go in the driver’s seat.  It’s such a pretty dash and do you see those chrome pedals?  I really loved the sportiness of the 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport!  It definitely lived up to the sport name with the look and the handling!  I drive a truck every day and while it’s a beast, the handling isn’t.  I loved the handling in the 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport and how well it took to turns and curves (thanks to the awesome 6 speed automatic transmission with shiftroinc®). Plus where I’d feel every bump in the road with my truck, the 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport was a smooth ride!

There was no lack of space in the truck and we were able to fit tons of groceries, of course I forgot to snap a picture, but here’s my huge camera bag to show you just how spacious the trunk is.   Whenever my husband is driving I still sit in the back seat with my daughter.  I loved that I was able to comfortably sit in the middle seat.  The front seat was even roomy with a car seat in the back.

I am sucker for alloy wheels and the 17inch alloy wheels wheels are on point with the sport of this vehicle.

We had so much fun taking the 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport everywhere, but we particularly loved taking it to the local pond – we even saw a mommy and daddy goose with their baby geese!

We love all the extended warranties that Hyundai offers on their vehicles, including the Elantra Sport.  The LCD display along with the naviagation are a must have for a family car in my opinion and with the price tag of $25,055.00 we find that the 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport is extremely affordable. it also includes leather seating at that price!

Our next car is going to be an SUV for me, but my husband wants another sedan for his and he may want to take a look at this one.
