Bacon Avocado and Tomato Sandwiches BLT Avocado Sandwich

This Bacon Avocado Tomato Sandwich is so good.  It’s like the ultimate BLT, minus the lettuce.  I am a girl who loves mayo, however mayo isn’t as heart healthy as avocado.  We go through about 4-6 avocados a week, sometimes even more!  My daughter absolutely loves avocado and can eat it plain, but she loves it with corn tortilla chips.  I love a good Bacon Avocado Tomato Sandwich!  I love to make the bacon and then toast my bread IN the bacon grease.  Bacon fat is a magical thing – and this bread… oh my word!  It’s beyond words deliciousness.

It’s not too greasy and you don’t even need to use butter.  I love that the bacon flavor is throughout this sandwich.  I am a huge fan of bacon.  Bacon is the main reason I cannot become a vegetarian, well that an burgers.  Mmm bacon cheeseburgers!

There’s really no wrong way to make this Bacon Avocado Tomato Sandwich recipe.  All you need is simple ingredients and you have a sandwich that would please anyone – even yourself!  I like to use an avocado that is soft and ready to be made into guacamole.  The softer the avocado the better!  I actually use avocado in the place of mayo pretty often unless it’s potato salad, potato salad needs mayo.

Bacon Avocado and Tomato Sandwiches BLT Avocado Sandwich

What’s your favorite way to enjoy avocado and bacon?  I think they were meant to be in this sandwich.  It’s so good and definitely hits the spot when you’re craving bacon!  My daughter can eat a whole half herself!  If you want even more protein you can add some fresh sliced turkey breast or grilled chicken!   If I make this for Chris I like to put on some grilled chicken and he can eat this as dinner!   What’s better than a Bacon Avocado Tomato Sandwich?  I’m not sure!  We just know you’re going to love this recipe and hope you try it!  It’s definitely a family favorite around here.
