    Chocolate Bowls

Our chocolate bowls are super fun! Kids can make a chocolate bowl and put a scoop of ice cream right into it for dessert.

A few weeks ago I got an email from a company called kifoodie and they asked if they could send us a box. Of course, I said yes! I love cooking with my daughter and we have a series called Mini Chef Mondays where we post a new recipe every Monday! This was a great fit for us.

With kifoodie, your mini chef will have a fun culinary activity each month. Our box came with a recipe to try, but we ended up doing our own thing. Each box has GMO free products and there’s also a gluten-free option! It comes with 2-4 kitchen gadgets and products, my daughter especially loved the snacks and treats they sent too! 🙂

Kay had so much fun making our Easter Egg Ice Cream Chocolate Bowls!! 🙂

The first thing I noticed was the chocolate egg mold and knew we had to play with that! My daughter wanted ice cream the other day so we picked some up at the store and boom, we thought of making the ice cream bowls! Chocolate Bowls DIY desserts are so much fun to make. We wanted to try the DIY Ballon Chocolate Bowls, but the thought of putting hot chocolate onto a latex balloon didn’t sound too tasty.

The ice cream bowls are so easy to make and you don’t need anything but a mold, brush, and some chocolate. We used the mold and paint brush from our April kifoodie experience box. We weren’t paid to share this box and we didn’t even plan on doing a post, just a social share, but we adore it so much that we had to share here too!

You can make them with your mini chef ahead of time and freezer before serving too! 🙂
