No Cook Homemade Ice Cream Without Eggs Recipe is our go to ice cream recipe.   No cooking, no eggs and it’s just as delicious.  Plus you can control and limit the sugar.

So many ice creams these days are filled with too much sugar, even if you get organic.  People tend to think organic is healthy.  Yes, it’s better for you than non-organic, but is it really BETTER FOR YOU?.. Unfortunately Kay is addicted to sweets, like her mommy and daddy!

Thankfully I’ve come up with ways to combat that and also get her essential vitamins she needs from Milk.  She refuses to drink milk, unless it’s breastmilk.  Her recent blood work showed she was a little low in vitamin D plus calcium and it’s also winter, so that could be a reason.  Can’t forget about FPIES being a culprit either.. darn food allergies!  The doctor suggested to give her more milk, cheese and yogurt.  Easier said than done in our case.

I’ve made her chocolate milk and this is really the best chocolate milk recipe we’ve made ever!  She’ll drink a little tiny bit and then ask for water.  Thankfully she loves water and not processed juices.  She DOES love fresh juice, which is excellent for her.  Over the summer we were making ice cream like crazy and then we stopped since we discovered Whole Foods had delicious organic ice cream.  Oh, but the sugar!  So I went back to making ice cream homemade.  No Cook Homemade Ice Cream Without Eggs!

We all really enjoyed the Raspberry Lemon Vanilla Ice Cream (No Cook, No Eggs!) recipe, but instead I know she loves chocolate.. So I made a quick and easy homemade chocolate milk recipe and FROZE IT in a silicone ice cream tray.

Quick and Easy Homemade Chocolate Milk Recipe

It’s really easy to make this recipe and all you need is simple ingredients you most likely already have in your house!  Make sure to use a good blender, the Vitamix is the best blender, so it’s our favorite blender for this recipe.  The tamper really allows you to have full control when making the ice cream.

I need to start making my own ice cream. No allergies to worry about for us…but it would still be so much better eating something I made, knowing exactly what went into it.
