Today on Mini Chef Mondays we’re taking the traditional spoonable ice cream dessert into a smooth treat you enjoy with a stainless steel straw. 🙂

My toddler loves to make smoothies and we always have frozen bananas in the house. We use a blend of frozen banana and yogurt for the base of each flavor. A traditional banana split recipe has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream. Then for toppings it could have chopped strawberries, pineapple, chocolate syrup and whip cream. It’s so easy to make and you can easily enjoy it with breakfast since it has tons of healthy ingredients, this recipe is not just for dessert!

      Hi Courtney,
This looks SO delicious πŸ™‚ I love how you have a simple formula that you can tweak for all types of flavors. We try to keep frozen bananas on hand all of the time too. Things just tend to get a little “ugly” when I mix greens with my frozen berries – and then our smoothie turns brown. Thank goodness it still tastes good, but the kids tend to want to drink it with their eyes closed πŸ™‚ lol. xo M.
