Make our Easy Broccoli and Cheese Casserole in less than 30 minutes! This easy cheesy side dish is a family favorite using frozen broccoli, shredded mozzarella, and mayonnaise. This post is sponsored by BJ’s Wholesale Club.
Who else loves the BJ’s Wholesale Club is the frozen section?? I can find quality proteins from animal protein to vegan protein options, but my favorite of all is the fruits and vegetables. Of course, I can’t forget the ice cream, ha! When you buy frozen items they’re always flash-frozen at their peak. That means I’m getting the best quality, I can use it whenever, and I don’t have to worry about using it within a certain amount of time.
Bulk options can sometimes leave leftovers so if you’re not going to use up that broccoli in the fresh section, grab it from the frozen. It’s such a great way to shop when you know how much you’ll need and can find a longer alternative right in the same place. Frozen vegetables and fruits save me so much time and they are much less prep as you’ve had to clean, cut, etc.
This broccoli casserole cooks up in less than 30 minutes. You easily serve it with a rotisserie chicken from BJ’s Wholesale Club or even make your own whole roasted chicken.

CAN I ADD OTHER VEGETABLES OR PROTEIN?
Yes, you can absolutely add more veggies! Our favorite ones to add in would be spinach, mushrooms, artichokes, cauliflower, or even carrots. We make another dish by adding rice and chicken in our Easy Chicken Broccoli Rice Casserole.
RECIPE TIPS:
- For fresh broccoli, we recommend steamed broccoli or even roasted broccoli.
- You can add more veggies or even protein.
- To avoid bread crumbs you could also do a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top instead.
