    easy sugar cookies

There’s something special about making cookies at home, being with family, enjoying spending time together, and of course the heavenly smell of sugar cookie aroma throughout the house. Growing up my mom would make refrigerated sugar cookie dough, but as soon as I was old enough I wanted to make sugar cookies from scratch. I love using real ingredients in my baked goods and choosing all the ingredients that go into a recipe.

I love when our homemade sugar cookies come out of the oven. I put them on a rack to cool, but I admit, it’s hard to wait. I love enjoying them while they’re still warm!
