HOW TO MAKE COOKIE BARS

step by step photos how to make cookie bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 9×13 baking dish with baking nonstick spray. You can also line the dish with foil for easy removal if you do this then spray the foil lining with baking non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar and mix until well combined.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla and mix until well combined.
  4. Add the flour in slowly, mixing in between, until all of the flour is mixed in.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips, caramel bits, and pecans.
  6. Using a spatula, spread the cookie dough into your prepared pan.
  7. Sprinkle with sea salt and top with a few extra chocolate chips, caramel bits, and pecans if you would like them to look like ours on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges turn golden brown. Cool completely before cutting.
