    Strawberry Kefir Chia Seed Popsicles | Lifeway Kefir

    Strawberry Kefir Chia Seed Popsicles

    I love yogurt, but more recently I’ve been just drinking Kefir.  I buy the Lifeway Kefir, whole milk!  Kay really enjoys it too.  I typically add fresh berries and a little bit of veggies, making a delicious smoothie!  Did you know Lifeway foods also makes Kefir 32oz Lowfat Cultured Milk Smoothies?!

    I love treating my family to dessert however indulging too much can be fun, but not too good for you.  I like to indulge in good for you foods too!  Kefir is a little bit more tart than the yogurt you’re probably used to eating, but it’s actually refreshing and better in a lot of ways!  Lifeway Kefir is GLUTEN FREE AND 99% LACTOSE FREE!  Kefir is packed with probiotic cultures, 12 live and active probiotic cultures that support your immunity and excellent for digestive health!  It’s even rich in calcium.

    I’m super picky as a person, but even more so as a Mom!  I trust Lifeway brand and thank them tremendously for not using artificial sweeteners and only using milk that comes from cows that are not treated with pesticides, antibiotics, or synthetic growth hormones. The milk comes from cows that are grass fed and GMO free.  With my daughter’s allergies it’s also very important we get products she can eat safely too!

    Kay thoroughly enjoy her Strawberry Kefir Chia Seed Popsicles.  I made 3 popsicles thinking we’d all have one.. she had two and daddy and mommy shared one! Ha!!

    The added chia seeds are just another great way of getting the good nutrients in my family – plus these popsicles are pretty much as healthy as a dessert you can get!

    Ingredients

    • 2 Cups Kefir Strawberry
    • 1 Tablespoon Orange Juice fresh squeezed
    • 1 Teaspoon Chia Seeds
    Prevent your screen from going dark

    Instructions

    • In a small bowl combine the orange juice and chia seeds allowing them to soak.
    • In a larger bowl measure out the strawberry smoothie kefir and then add in the oj/chia seed mixture.
    • Pour into ice pop molds and allow to freeze, preferably overnight.
    • Enjoy!
