About our baby: Our sweet baby’s skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she’s around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop. . (summary from babycenter)
About me: This week I started getting a little bit of dizziness – feeling unsteady. I’ve also been eating like crazy. I consume at least 10 red peppers a week.

Best moment this week: Gaining weight. I wasn’t digging losing weight during pregnancy too much!
Worst moment this week: Trying to find a nursing bra that is comfortable – it’s like mission impossible! I found a one that fit perfectly but the back clasp fabric was sharp. No good 🙁

Sweet Baby now weighs as much as a Turnip!
This week the round ligament pain has eased up a lot – thankfully! I do still get the sharp pains if I move too quickly or cough sometimes, but much better than before. I’ve been feeling lots of maybe this is baby kind of movements, but I’m not sure. The doctor actually said it most likely is baby, but I won’t realize it until I feel it more frequently and stronger. We had our second part of the NT screening where they took blood to compare to the last blood test. We should hear results by Monday. We heard our sweet baby’s heart beat which is beautiful as always. I can’t wait to hold our precious little one and hear it from their little chest instead of all these machines and devices. This week I’ve been focusing on talking to baby more, and playing soft music/lullaby and even some water sounds. While I’m blogging I tend to keep Pandora on for baby, which is also extremely soothing for me. Love Dan Gibson’s Cool Forest Rain and The Old Bridge, so peaceful.
