Sweet Baby 39 Weeks

Sweet Baby weighs as much as a Mini-Watermelon!
Oh my goodness, can you believe I’m already 39 Weeks Pregnant?! WOW! The time really has gone by quickly and hopefully within the next week I finally get to meet my Sweet Baby, Mikaylee! That is unless she feels like extending her stay. My doctor typically will let you go until 41 Weeks as long as there aren’t any complications. Hubby and I are so ready to meet her!
About our baby: Your baby’s waiting to greet the world! She continues to build a layer of fat to help control her body temperature after birth, but it’s likely she already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. The outer layers of her skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath. (summary and weekly image from babycenter)
About me: Excited, energized, and then I’m tired and can’t move by night time.
How far along? 39 Weeks 2 Days
Total weight gain: 28lbs
Maternity clothes? Just larger or longer shirts
Stretch marks? I have some on both sides of my belly.
Sleep: Not much 😉
Best moment this week: Figuring out our living arrangements. We are no longer moving. I wanted her to have her own room, but for the first year she’ll be with us anyway. We like our apartment. Washer/Dryer and Dishwasher .. Enough said 🙂
Worst moment this week: Not finding an apartment that we liked nor felt safe in.
Miss Anything? Being able to move without pain in my butt .. seriously. haha
Movement: We call her our little wild one. She likes to dance around 🙂
Food cravings: Oreos and Ice Cream..
Anything making you queasy or sick: Raw ground meat/chicken.
Gender: Baby GIRL!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Pain at night in my back, ever since the stupid car accident 🙁
Belly Button in or out? It’s officially out!
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! 🙂
Looking forward to: Meeting our Baby!! Going to the doctor tomorrow for the internal. We’ll see!

And wow. I find out the sex this week so I’m a little excited. And no where near the size of a watermelon though I feel like one some days. Love following the progress!
