Sweet Baby 40 Weeks

Sweet Baby is the size of a Small Pumpkin!
Oh, hello! Yes, I am still pregnant! It seems like Mikaylee is making sure she is a well done Sweet Baby! 🙂 We are nearing the end and I just cannot wait to meet her already. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to see if we’re ready!! If not the latest I can go is the 27th, as my DR’s office doesn’t allow you to go beyond 41 weeks. I’m hoping she’s ready tomorrow! We’re ready for you Sweet Baby!!
About our baby: It’s hard to say for sure how big your baby will be, but the average newborn weighs about 7 1/2 pounds (a small pumpkin) and is about 20 inches long. Her skull bones are not yet fused, which allows them to overlap a bit if it’s a snug fit through the birth canal during labor. This so-called “molding” is the reason your baby’s noggin may look a little conehead-ish after birth. Rest assured — it’s normal and temporary. (summary and weekly image from babycenter)

Total weight gain: 29lbs
Maternity clothes? Just larger or longer shirts
Stretch marks? Oh man…
Sleep: Yeah, I forgot what that is..
Best moment this week: Seeing Sweet Baby’s little face!!
Worst moment this week: Having oreo cookies, but no ice cream in the house.. Yes, it was a disaster..
Miss Anything? Sleep!
Movement: She likes to dance!
Food cravings: Oreos and Ice Cream..
Anything making you queasy or sick: Raw ground meat/chicken.
Gender: Baby GIRL!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Pain at night in my back and soreness in my abdomen from a huge baby girl kicking around 😉
Belly Button in or out? It’s officially out!
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! 🙂
Looking forward to: Looking into Mikaylee’s little eyes!! 🙂

Still anxiously awaiting her arrival. 🙂 Cat, I’m indecisive and only picked out 3 possible outfits.. haha 🙂

How sweet! Mine may feel like a pumpkin but it’s no where near!
My son was 41 1/2 weeks when he was born. I tend to agree with the doctors regarding going too far over. Hopefully any day now she will be making her appearance.

It’s funny that a full size baby is the same size as a pumpkin. Maybe that’s why so many babies are called pumpkin, and why they call those little carriers pumpkin seats. LOL.
