Teriyaki Chicken Skewers and Sweet Citrus Tea – a tasty grilled meal with a refreshing tea mocktail. Healthy and delicious!
Growing up my mom always made her sweet tea. It was the best tea ever! I remember her making it every morning, bright and early. There wasn’t a day she didn’t make a huge pitcher of her tea.
In our house, we typically drink just water, and when entertaining or making a nice meal, we’ll have tea as a treat. I love the Sweet Tea from Gold Peak Tea. I could easily enjoy it on its own, but I love adding fresh citrus to my tea!
Also, even if the tea is already cold, it must have ice. I love my tea super cold. 🙂 I use a combination of citrus, and it’s so good.
You can go to your local Kroger and find the seasonal, limited edition Harvest Pear Tea or if you prefer, the Sweet Tea from Gold Peak Tea. We love pairing our tea with a grilled meal, so I made some mini Teriyaki Chicken Skewers. It’s super simple, and I used the Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki that you can also find at Kroger.
These recipes are the perfect due. We have the delicious Asian Flavors from the Soy Vay and the Sweet Southern flavor from the Gold Peak Tea. Our fun Citrus Tea Mocktail is perfect for the whole family to enjoy. They make for the perfect grilling pair and great for entertaining too!
If you love the Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki as much as we do you could even saute some broccoli in it. Many grills have the burners, so that’s we suggest, not grilling the actual broccoli, but using the burner with a pan. Save the grill for the delicious chicken skewers, and we even made some grilled potato fries.
