    The holiday season is coming up and that means tons of entertaining, shopping, and most importantly spending time with family, not in the kitchen all day.

    I love making semi-homemade meals, especially when life is hectic. Simple shortcuts in the kitchen that can cut my cooking time in half or even more are always a win! Bonus, if it’s easy for my kiddo to help too.

    This meal can feed our family of three comfortably! I use about a half a pound of pasta and then we do serve with a side salad. You could easily change the pasta to penne, spaghetti, or any pasta your family prefers. This warm pasta salad recipe is perfect for the whole family. We give the option of putting in red chili pepper flakes or parmesan while serving.

    A few months ago I tried Cooked Perfect® Fresh Meatballs and was hooked. They’re flavorful and perfectly portioned. They’re fully cooked and ready to be the star of any dish I want to make.

    I previously made Baked Spaghetti and Meatballs and that dish was gobbled up within 10 minutes after hitting the table! I served with a crunchy bread and a side salad. I just love how the meatballs bake with this and make a pretty presentation too!

    Another one of our favorites. I made the scrumptious Korean Style BBQ Meatballs with a Warm Slaw. This slaw is so good and pairs perfectly with the Cooked Perfect’s Korean Style Meatballs.

    Pasta meals are one of my favorite and easiest dishes you can make in a pinch. I add the fresh flame-broiled meatballs with other fresh ingredients like tomato, garlic, spinach, and mozzarella.

    When I start the meal I like to warm some oil in a pan and heat the meatballs with a little fresh garlic and then slowly add in the other ingredients. Pasta is last with a little of the pasta water.

    You can even heat the meatballs in the microwave if you wanted to cut even more time off. The steamable pouch package is great for locking in moisture and flavor, they heat up in about 2 minutes!

    There are so many ways to use these meatballs. I even like to make meatball sandwiches for my husband to take to work. I know it’s something he’ll enjoy and with a long day at work, it’s a very filling lunch with some cut fresh and veggies.

    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 3 cloves garlic minced
    • 1 packagr Cooked Perfect's Sundried Tomato & Roasted Garlic Chicken
    • 2 cups spinach fresh
    • 10 cherry tomatoes
    • 2 cups bow-tie pasta cooked
    • 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella chopped
    • salt + pepper to taste
    Prevent your screen from going dark

    Instructions

    • In a large skillet warm up the olive oil with garlic until the garlic is softened.
      Add in the meatballs and spinach.
      Once the spinach is slightly cooked down add in the tomatoes, pasta, mozzarella and toss. 
      Season to taste and enjoy!
