My daughter loves to enjoy a yogurt parfait for breakfast! She scoops her spoon down the cup and gets the chunks of fresh fruit, sprinkled in chia seeds and creamy maple yogurt. The best think about our yogurt parfait is it’s made just how she likes it. You can really make a yogurt parfait how ever you like! You can add in fresh granola, cereal, chia seeds, hemp hearts, nuts, seeds, fruits, jam, chocolate chips, the options are e-n-d-l-e-s-s! Really, you can have fun with it!

This morning she went into the fridge and took out some strawberries, blueberries and chia seeds. We made our favorite maple yogurt and then layered that with the berries and chia seeds she picked out. She loves to make her own breakfast and being involved in the entire process!

We’re actually about to go shopping for dinner and she told me “I want salmon for dinner, oh and quinoa too!”. I love how involved she is, by inviting her into the kitchen, her food world has expanded tremendously, especially since she was only eating a small list of foods before outgrowing FPIES!
