White Chocolate Nonpareils

A few months ago we made Homemade Chocolate Nonpareils that were dark chocolate with Valentine’s Day nonpareils.

Homemade Chocolate Nonpareils - Super fun, easy and delicious candy recipe

This time around we’re making Christmas Nonpareils with white chocolate and Christmas colored nonpareils. My mini chef is a white chocolate fan, so this recipe is perfect for her to make and of course, eat. I remember growing up loving white chocolate too and I still love it. We both enjoy white hot chocolate as well. 🙂

We like to keep recipes simple so that all mini chefs can try to make it. My mini chef doesn’t need any help with this recipe, and she can practically make it all on her own.

What we love about this recipe is how simple it is to make and how easy we can adapt it to any holiday. If you don’t want to use food dyes you could even use just white nonpareils. We limit the amount of food dye in the house, but when it comes to the holidays it’s fun to use them for treats like this. Everything in moderation and we hope brands will start making these fun sprinkles with natural food dyes. 🙂

    1. Could you add peppermint extract to these? My husband loves those pastel colored chips with the nonpareils but they are hard to find locally.

    2. For chocolate, I recommend using food grade peppermint oil like LorAnn. Extract may likely seize up the chocolate, but if you want you can try a small test amount! 🙂
