This fresh strawberry lemonade recipe has been a favorite in our house for years. I first started making it with my daughter when she was little because she absolutely loved anything pink. The second she saw homemade strawberry lemonade in the blender, she was instantly excited. Now my son loves helping make it too, especially when it’s time to toss the strawberries into the blender and blend it up!

Our fresh strawberry lemonade recipe is bound to be your new favorite drink. It's great for any season, especially during the summer!

This easy strawberry lemonade is sweet, refreshing, and made with just a handful of simple ingredients. It’s perfect for hot summer days, Valentine’s Day parties, backyard BBQs, or, honestly, anytime you want a fun, homemade drink.

One of my favorite things about this recipe is how easy it is to customize. You can make it sweeter, more tart, or even double the recipe for a big pitcher when guests come over.

We usually make small batches during the colder months, but once summer hits, we make pitcher after pitcher because it disappears fast around here. We especially love it with fresh picked strawberries. I will even use fresh picked strawberries from frozen for this recipe. See How to Freeze Strawberries.

Fresh Strawberry Lemonade Recipe Ingredients

Water: Helps balance the sweetness and tart lemon flavor. Use cold water for the most refreshing lemonade.
Fresh strawberries: The strawberries give this lemonade its beautiful pink color and fresh fruity flavor. Frozen strawberries can work too if needed.
Sugar: Sweetens the lemonade and balances the tart lemon juice. Add more or less depending on how sweet you like your drinks.
Lemon juice: Fresh lemon juice gives the best bright lemon flavor. Bottled lemon juice works in a pinch, but fresh really makes a difference here.
