This Brookie Recipe is super simple to make using cookie dough and some pantry staples with Hershey Kisses and Caramel Sauce!

Gooey chocolate paired with a chocolate chip cookie crust and a drizzle of caramel, these brookies hit the spot! We love a good dessert bar and these are always a winner.

Brookies ingredients
- Premade cookie dough, we used Pillsbury
- Vegetable Oil
- Granulated Sugar
- Vanilla
- Eggs
- Baking Powder
- Cocoa Powder
- Salt
- All Purpose Flour
- Caramel Hershey Kisses, you could also use regular if you don’t want caramel
- Caramel Sauce (optional as well)
How to make brookies
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and then line a 9×9 baking pan with foil or parchment paper. The foil will help remove the brownies after they have cooled.
- Place the cookie dough onto the bottom of the pan and press it into the bottom of your prepared pan in an even layer, then set aside.
- Unwrap the Hershey kisses and arrange them in rows in the pan; press them down into the cookie dough to stay, but not all the way through.
- In a medium bowl, mix the oil and sugar until well combined. Add the eggs and vanilla and then mix until blended.
- In another bowl, mix together all of your dry ingredients. Combine the dry and wet mixtures and mix until well combined.
- Pour the brownie mixture on top of the cookie dough layer and carefully spread it across the top. Sprinkle with chocolate chips if you like.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, until a toothpick, comes out clean. Cool for about an hour minutes before cutting.
- Before cutting, and after cooling, drizzle some caramel sauce across the top.
