Super simple air fryer dessert recipe, Air Fryer Oreos are a fun treat you may have had at the carnival, well now you can make it at home without the oil!

WHY YOU’LL LOVE AIR FRIED OREOS

I’ll never forget the first time I had a fried Oreo, it was good, but it was so greasy. Then when I tried air fryer Oreos with crescent rolls, wow!

There’s no grease, just pure deliciousness. The Oreo gets nice and soft and the crescent dough is puffy, almost like a zeppole covered in the powdered sugar.

You’ll also love how easy Air Fryer Fried Oreos are to whip up. You could easily make them while your guests are over and wouldn’t even stink up the house with oil.

Kids love covering the Oreos with the crescent rolls, it’s super fun and a great way to get them involved in the kitchen, what kid doesn’t love a fun dessert?

INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED TO MAKE FRIED OREOS IN AIR FRYER

All you need is crescents dough and Oreos. For the crescents we prefer the traditional shape, but if you only have rounds those work as well. For Oreos, you could use regular Oreos, holiday Oreos, or even double stuffed! Another fun way to make it is with mini Oreos! They’re bite-sized treats and super fun.

HOW TO MAKE FRIED OREOS IN AIR FRYER

Open the crescents and cover the Oreo cookies with the dough, making sure there are no air bubbles and it’s completely covering the Oreo.

Place the covered Oreos onto the air fryer rack and then cook in the air fryer.

Flip the Oreos once the tops are a light golden brown.

Once the Oreos are done, dust them with powdered sugar. We love using a dusting wand for this, but you could also use a sifter.

    RECIPE NOTES:

    • With the Cuisinart Air Fryer or any air fryer with a rack like ours, you will get some indentations in the dough. If it’s stuck you can wiggle a little while picking up and it should come out easily. We do not mind the indentation as you can see it’s only on the bottom, not the top.
    • Products we used to make this are our dusting wand and Cuisinart Air Fryer.

Did you use the air fryer setting, or the bake setting?

      DAIRY FREE DECADENCE!
I’ve deep fried oreos in the past on occasion but love this oi free air fried version better! My daughter is lactose intolerant and this is a perfect easy dessert for when she comes to Sunday dinner. Only issue is not eating too many!

Can these be prepared in advance and then cooked off in batches for a party?

I haven’t prepared these in advance prior. The Oreos get soft when cooking so not sure how preparing ahead of time would impact the overall texture.

In an oven style? Yes, but you may need to alter the time a bit.
