This chicken seasoning recipe is my absolute favorite and go to recipe for chicken breast. I even use it on drumsticks, thighs and even steak! If you’re looking for chicken seasoning ideas that are flavorful, this is a must try!
We used to eat chicken pretty often. I love to slice it before cooking to get it to cook quick. Plus it really helps when I’m making it for hubby’s lunches. I’m always struggling on ideas for lunches for him. My husbands favorite work lunch is actually grilled chicken and salad. Making it like this makes my life easier. Plus he’s not spending a ton eating out at work. I just put it all in a large pan and cook until done. You can do the full chicken breast too if you like. The recipe is good no matter what protein you use it on.
My personal favorite is to enjoy it on a pita sandwich with hummus and cucumbers. I love Middle Eastern recipes. Sometimes Chris will take the pita sandwich for lunch, but he really loves the salad! I pair it with cut up cucumbers, shredded carrots & beets, roasted tomatoes and balsamic glazed mushrooms cut up. Then he puts whatever dressing he wants on it.
I actually make this every Sunday and he has it for a few days then I make it again on Wednesday. Lately I’ve even mixed it up and used this on pork. Like I said it’s so good you can use it on any protein of your choosing. I’ve even done it on a whole roasted chicken before. So good! I love to be able to make hubby a home cooked lunch this way I can be sure he’s eating the best ingredients. We only purchase only organic and it’s extremely hard to do that when you’re eating out.
