Ingredients and ingredient notes:
- All Purpose Flour – Make sure to scoop flour into the measuring cup and then level it off.
- Baking Powder
- Salt
- Granulated Sugar
- Unsalted Butter – You can use salted if that is all you have.
- Eggs
- Plain Greek Yogurt – The yogurt has no flavor so it will not alter the flavor of your coffee cake. You could swap with sour cream if you needed.
- Milk – we prefer using 1% or higher when baking.
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips – Feel free to use milk chocolate instead if you want.
- Ground Cinnamon – This is a part of the crumb topping, it really elevates the flavor.
- Brown Sugar – You can use light or regular brown sugar for this recipe.
