A taste test of Oatly’s new Vanilla Dipped Bar, Chocolate Fudge Dipped Bar, Salted Caramel Dipped Bar, and Strawberry Swirl Dipped Bar. These delicious frozen dessert novelties are a must-try.
Our son has a lot of food allergies so finding something that is safe for him that I don’t have to prepare is a win when it comes to frozen novelties. I can make ice pops, but during the summer months when we’ll be spending most of our time outdoors I love the fact that there are so many options in the stores now.
Oatly is one of our safe foods for him. Their new dipped bar frozen novelties are free from nuts, free from dairy, and free from gluten. We have to watch out for peanuts, tree nuts, and dairy.
Oatly may have cross-contamination due to shared facility and possibly lines, but they follow a cleaning schedule and testing, and thankfully we’re okay with their products.
Oatly Dipped Bar Flavors
Chocolate Dipped Fudge Bar – Rich chocolate ice cream swirled with chocolate fudge hugged by a hard chocolate shell. This is a triple chocolate treat!
This one is by far our favorite. I love the rich chocolate frozen dessert the most in their ice cream containers so naturally, this is a favorite as well. The chocolate fudge swirls and chocolate shell make it even better!
Strawberry Swirl Dipped Bar – Strawberry non-dairy frozen treat swirled with a strawberry swirl covered in a chocolate shell, delicious like chocolate-covered strawberries!
This is our second favorite. It has a slightly tangy and tart flavor from the strawberry which pairs perfectly with the chocolate.
Vanilla Dipped Bar – Creamy and delicious non-dairy frozen Vanilla dessert with a hard chocolate shell, simple, but delicious.
This is our third favorite. It doesn’t have much flavor aside from the chocolate shell and a slight hint of vanilla. It definitely reminds you of the chocolate dipped bars that most of us grew up on.
Salted Caramel Dipped Bar – Vanilla non-dairy frozen dessert with salted caramel swirls and a chocolate shell.
Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to love this one, none of us really cared for it. It was overly sweet and had a strong chemical creamer-like taste to me.
